Happy Thanksgiving week!
Are you ready to host or are you in need of some last-minute inspiration? We created this simple and beautiful setup for a Friendsgiving Brunch that was featured on StyleBlueprint; though it can easily translate to lunch or dinner.
The inspiration for this brunch stemmed from Rae Dunn’s beautiful and minimal dishes. They have become a staple in many households as they can pair easily with vintage or modern pieces. And you can easily (and affordably!) acquire them at any TJ Maxx, Homegoods, Marshalls, or Kirkland’s.
Our stylist, Feather+Oak, created a beautiful palette of black, white, and yellow for our tablescape, with a small touch of green. The velvet texture of the table linen creates a luxurious backdrop that elevates an otherwise casual affair.
Our brunch menu included an array of beverages: pumpkin spice white hot chocolate, coffee, hot tea, and apple cider mimosas. For the food, the options were fruit salad, yogurt and granola, pumpkin French toast casserole, and maple turkey bacon waffles. And if that is not enough, dessert was caramel chocolate bundt cake!
For a festive cocktail for your Friendsgiving (or Thanksgiving!) brunch, try a mimosa apple cider. Just one-third prosecco to two-third apple cider (or adjust the ratio to your taste) and add a garnish of sliced apples and cinnamon sticks. It’s easy, pretty and perfect for the occasion (remember this one for your other winter festivities!).
