Last fall, I had the pleasure of coordinating Stephanie and Tyler's wedding at Loveless Barn. These two were a breeze to work with! They were very hands-on, from pulling together vintage teapots for the centerpieces to a run-through banner for their exit. When choosing details, they were always confident in their decisions. And as you can see for yourself, this resulted in a lovely wedding with lots of great vendors. I fell in love with their color scheme of navy, grey, and orange, while Lauren created my favorite sunflower arrangements! I hope you love it and this sweet couple too!
Their first look was so cute! Limited on locations, the elevator was a unique twist.
Stephanie and Tyler opted for a traditional church ceremony, but mixed it up a bit by showing a video of their love story just before exchanging their vows. Here's a little about their story and why they chose to marry in the fall:
"We got engaged mid November 2012 and knew we would like to get married in either the spring or fall. Since Spring 2013 was a little to soon for us as far, as planning went, we decided on the fall. We didn't want to wait until Spring 2014 either! We were excited because fall in Tennessee is beautiful and the weather wouldn't be too warm or too cold."
We asked Stephanie what makes her smile the most when she looks back on her wedding, here is what she had to say:
"It's really hard to narrow it down to just one thing but I think the decisions we made about music help me focus on the best moments of our wedding. Tyler and I discussed what songs we would use really early on in the planning process and wanted to make sure we had the perfect songs for each moment. Music is something we both enjoy a lot and has been a big part of our relationship. We chose Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors' song "Hung the Moon" as the song for my entrance. I'll never forget what Tyler's face looked like while I walked to him. He had the biggest smile and was so joyful. I love the pictures from that moment! We've been to a couple of Drew Holcomb shows since we got married and it is so special to hear that song performed live and think back to one of the best moments of our lives!"
Stephanie has some words of wisdom for other brides:
"At the end of the day, as long as your married, everything will be perfect. All the planning and preparation done beforehand is definitely important, but on your wedding day trust your planner and yourself that everything will be taken care of!
Also, don't leave your contact information with every single vendor you talk to at a bridal show. You will be even more overwhelmed with decisions if you do!"
"Also...deciding to use a planner was one of the best decisions I made in the whole planning process. I always had someone with lots of experience to bounce ideas off of, ask for advice/etiquette tips, vent to, keep me on track, go to vendor meetings with, and overall trust that everything on my wedding day would be executed exactly as I dreamed it would be!"
