This summer has been… Weird. Is that a good word for it? Crazy, different. unexpected, bizarre, sad, disappointing? Maybe a little of all of those things. We definitely had so many outdoor parties planned that had to be cancelled. But the summer is not over yet! And celebrating in very small groups or with your family can bring just as much joy as the big soirees that we love.
As we see the summer come to an end, here are a few ideas on how to close it out with your loved ones. Whether you’re celebrating an upcoming wedding or Labor Day, good food and drink can always help with the pain of social distancing. Maybe skip the buffet if it’s a group of friends, but individually wrapped hot dogs are a win!

Colorful and delicious drink options that are for both the adults and kids - Diskin Cider and Jarritos!
Keep the color popping with sliced watermelon and a delicious southern slaw. (Keep your friends safe by individually plating the food ahead of time!). Clancy’s chips from Aldi are super affordable and have a variety of flavor options, so everyone will be happy!
It’s hard to beat a poolside picnic, and if you don’t have a pool of your own, you can always rent a poolside retreat, like this one at Cedarmont Farms! And Southern Events has the perfect, fun rentals to make it really memorable. An intimate, outdoor summer party is a great way to stay safe, focus on the details, and enjoy time together.
